About the HotSheet
The idea came about when I saw some friends trying to get out the word on their stolen musical items. Hopefully, it will catch on and Pawn Shops and potential buyers will search here to see if something is hot.You have to sign up to use the site, mainly so there is a contact point if an item is found. I also added a 'Vault' feature where you can store information about your instruments in case they do 'go mising'. Those items will not be displayed unless you change their status to 'Stolen'. How to use
I used a shopping cart framework for the basic functions, so it would be just like adding an item to a cart. The most important thing to do is have as much information as possible before you enter a item (serial number, make, model, picture that shows an outstanding identifing feature). The web crawlers should pick up the information on stolen items, giving you a broad audience and a tweet goes out as well.
